Your senior photo session day is finally here — yay! You’ve picked your outfits, planned your hair and makeup, and found the perfect photographer (hopefully it’s me!). But now you might be wondering… what should I actually bring with me to the shoot?
Don’t stress — I’ve got you. Here’s a complete checklist to make sure you’re fully prepped, feeling confident, and ready to shine in front of the camera.
✅ Outfits + Accessories
Bring all outfits neatly packed and wrinkle-free. I recommend 2–3 options that show off different styles — casual, dressy, and something in-between. Don’t forget shoes, jewelry, jackets, or hair accessories that pair with each look!
Pro Tip: Pack each outfit in a separate bag with coordinating accessories to make changing a breeze.
✅ Touch-Up Essentials
Whether you’re doing your own makeup or you've booked me so it’s professionally done, bring a small bag with:
Lip gloss or lipstick
Hairbrush or comb
Oil blotting sheets or powder
Bobby pins or hair ties
✅ Personal Items
This includes:
Water bottle (staying hydrated = happy glow!)
Light snack or granola bar
Mirror for quick touch-ups
✅ Comfort Items
Photoshoots can be a few hours long, so bring:
Comfortable shoes for walking between locations
A jacket or blanket (especially in spring/fall)
Button or zip down shirt/jacket to wear during hair and makeup for easy removal
✅ Props or Personal Touches (Optional)
Want to bring something that shows off your hobbies, interests, or future plans? Think instruments, sports gear, books, or a letterman jacket. These little details help tell your story.
💡 Final Tip:
When in doubt, ask your photographer (that’s me!) if something is worth bringing — I’m always here to help you prep and feel ready.
